Epoxy flooring is the ideal flooring for the industrial environment, because it can withstand extreme conditions. No wonder that sheet metal company Suplacon from Emmeloord chose an epoxy floor. In a business where the floor literally has much to bear, including trucks weighing four tons, a strong epoxy floor is certainly not a luxury!
Suplacon engaged Flow Resin to apply their new epoxy flooring. “We were impressed with Flow Resins credentials and the floors they have applied at other companies. Also the workmanship and the high level of service Flow Resin offers played a major role in our decision,†says Suplacons spokesman Jellard Koers.
Epoxy Flooring in two weeks
Suplacon chose the Coating Floor A300. Flow Resin applied the epoxy flooring in two weeks time, including non-skid finish, lining and a ramp. Then, expansion joints made: seams to ensure that the epoxy floor can continue to work and thus is less susceptible to cracking. Jellard Koers: “We were very happy that it all went so smoothly. And because Flow Resin had discussed everything with us in advance we knew exactly where we stood. More important was that, even before the work began, we were sure we would get a floor that exactly met our requirements.â€
The work was completed and Suplacons new epoxy floor is already in full use. And satisfactorily: “The work environment has become cleaner and brighter by the new epoxy floor, and the lining makes our workflow more organized. This floor fits perfectly in the 5S system that we use at Suplacon. Moreover, it is quieter and the forklifts drive slower. Finally, the new floor has a major impact on our brand experience, because of the chosen colors. We are very happy!†says Jellard Koers.
