The Epoxy Scraper Coat HQ is a solvent-free 2-component epoxy scraper coat used to seal substrates such as sand cement screeds and concrete. This layer is applied after the EP Primer and before applying an epoxy or polyurethane screed. The scraper layer is applied with a smoothing trowel while scraping to seal the open structure of the substrate.
Epoxy Scraper Layer HQ provides excellent intermediate adhesion and is suitable for a variety of applications. The layer makes the substrate liquid-proof, levels and improves the adhesion of the screed. In addition, it offers chemical resistance.

Preparation of the substrate
An even and stable surface is essential for a good end result. To repair damage, use Epoxy repair mortar or Epoxy putty. To level the floor, use Epoxy Scraping Layer HQ. For leveling, visit Equalization.
