De IJssel Double Coat Double UV set

Double Coat Double UV is a transparent, high-build, high-solids two-component topcoat based on saturated polyester resins, modified aliphatic isocyanates and UV filters.

Main features and applications

• High filling capacity;
• Excellent application by brush, roller or spray;
• Very good flow; no streaks or orange peel visible after drying;
• Resistant to household chemicals and (salt) water;
• High scratch resistance;
• Remains shiny and does not yellow;
• Suitable as a transparent topcoat for various types of wood.

Application to different types of wood

When used on oily woods such as teak, first thoroughly degrease with Double Coat Degreaser. Do not use thinner, acetone or benzene. Allow the surface to dry for 30 minutes and then apply a coat of Variopox Injection Resin. After 24 hours, sand with P120-180 grit paper and then apply the first coat of Double Coat Double UV.
