- Density: approx. 1.7 g/cm³ (mixed product)
- Solids content: approx. 100% (volume)
- Dust dry after: approx. 2 hours (at ±15 °C)
- Fully cured after: 1 day (see additional info)
- Can be repainted after: min. 12 hours (at ±15 °C), max. unlimited if clean, grease-free and sanded
- Shelf life: minimum 12 months in original, unopened container, stored cool and frost-free
- Flash point (DIN53213): base component 150 °C, hardener component 112 °C
Efficiency
At a dry film thickness of 500 μm: approx. 1.2 m²/kg
The practical yield depends, among other things, on the shape of the object, the condition and structure of the surface, application method, weather conditions and skill of the processor.
Substrate condition and temperature
Steel: dry, rust and grease free, blasted to ISO Sa2½, pretreated with IJmopox ZF Primer
Wood: dry, grease-free, max. 12% moisture content, pretreated with Variopox Injection Resin and sanded with P120
Polyester: dry, grease-free, old coats of paint removed, sanded with P120 and degreased with Double Coat Degreaser
Other substrates: free of old paint layers, oil, grease and loose parts, preferably treated with IJmopox ZF Primer
Variopox putty: dry, grease-free, sanded with P120-180
Minimum application temperature: 5 °C. Substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above dew point.
User Manual
Mix both components thoroughly before use.
Mixing ratio: 67 parts base : 33 parts hardener (both by weight and volume)
