Application

Mapeflex MS Crystal was developed as a clear sealant and adhesive that bonds and seals without changing the appearance of the substrate.

Examples of applications:

As a sealant: Elastic sealant for interior and exterior applications, suitable for cracks, joints and expansion joints with a movement capacity of up to 20%. Typical applications include:

• Facades
• Interior walls
• Glass walls
• Joints between baseboards and floors
• Windows and doors
• Shower walls

As an elastic adhesive: A thin coat is sufficient for strong, flexible adhesion to common building materials. Ideal for bonding transparent glass and plastic, such as glass shelves, countertops and decorative glass objects. Also adheres to:

• Cement and cementitious substrates
• Brick
• Metals such as copper, aluminum and painted surfaces
• Glass and mirrors
