Mapei Planex HR

Quick-drying, moisture-resistant and self-leveling levelling compound for layer thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm.

Application

Planex HR is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. The product is designed for leveling both new and existing substrates and accommodating layer thickness differences from 1 to 10 mm. It makes the substrate suitable for all types of flooring, including elastic and textile varieties. Planex HR is particularly suitable for situations where high resistance to static and dynamic loads is required. Thanks to its special composition and excellent moisture resistance, it is also suitable for outdoor use or on substrates with a high residual moisture content or that are not yet completely dry.

Application examples

• Leveling of concrete floors and heated cement screeds based on Topcem, Mapecem, Mapecem Pronto or Topcem Pronto.
• Leveling anhydrite floors.
• Leveling floors with underfloor heating.
• Leveling existing floors of concrete, terrazzo, ceramic, natural stone and magnesite.
• Equalize concrete and cement substrates prior to bonding elastic loose-lay floor tiles with reactive adhesives, in locations that are regularly cleaned or rinsed.
• Leveling of concrete floors with rising damp, prior to the application of insulating PVC strips (such as Mapelay), which serve as a substrate for elastic sports floors or other applications.
