Ardex R1 Renovation Plaster is ideal for filling up to 10 mm thickness and provides a perfectly even surface. This plaster is economical to use and suitable for both walls and ceilings. It forms an excellent base for wallpaper, paint, decorative plasters, decorative finishes or other wall coverings. The application time is about 30 minutes. Simply mix the white powder with water and you can get started right away.

Application of Ardex R1

Add the powder to water in a ratio of 1 part water to 2 parts Ardex R1. Do not mix too much at once, as the processing time is limited to 30 minutes. Determine in advance how much you can process within that time. Mix vigorously, let the mixture rest for 1 to 3 minutes and then mix again briefly. Apply the mortar in layers up to 10 mm thick. After about 40 minutes you can finish the surface with a smoothing trowel. For an extra smooth result, you can refinish the surface with a damp sponge.
