Consumption
Approximately 1.50 kg/m² per mm layer thickness. Recommended layer thickness is 2 – 3 mm, which amounts to about 3.00 to 4.50 kg/m². When calculating the amount required, allow for a small margin.
System Structure
Primer/scrape coat (depending on substrate):
- Arturo EP6500 Primer*(2-C, EP)
- Arturo EP6200 Scraper Coat*(2-C, EP)
Cast Flooring:
- Arturo PU2060 Poured Flooring (2-C, PU)
Transparent top coats:
- Arturo PU7750 Topcoat*(2-C, PU, transparent, extra matte)
- Arturo PU7320 Topcoat*(2-C, PU, transparent, silk matt)
- Arturo PU7180 Topcoat*(1-C, PU, transparent, gloss)
Colored top coats (due to yellowing, we recommend a pigmented finish as standard):
- Arturo PU3320 Topcoat*(2-C, PU, colored, silk matt) – should be finished with a transparent topcoat
Substrate Preparation Cast Flooring
Remove cement laitance and concrete residue by grinding or sanding. Roughen smooth and dense substrates (such as concrete) with dust-free ball blasting. Roughen anhydrite floors and remove skin by blasting or sanding, depending on skin tensile strength. Chemically clean contaminated substrates.
Then sand and dust with an industrial vacuum cleaner. Fill cuts and holes with suitable filler. Repair cracks and holes with Arturo EP1500 Repair Mortar*.
Pre-treat cement and gypsum-bound substrates with Arturo EP6500 Primer* and/or Arturo EP6200 Scraper Coat*.
