Consumption

Consumption depends on the type of tile and joint width. On average, this is 250 g/m². With rough tiles or wide joints, this can increase to 500 g/m². For a better filling of the joints, the primer can be mixed with Flow Resin Heavy Duty Antislip (max. 10% by weight of component A+B), which increases the consumption to 500-700 g/m². For a smooth end result without anti-slip, it is necessary to apply a Flow Resin Epoxy Scraper Coat after the primer.

Required tools

Brush, nylon roller with bracket (and telescopic handle), gloves, mixing rod, mixing bucket, safety glasses. For sanding in: trowel and nylon roller.

Preparation of substrate

The substrate must be dry and dust-free. Remove cement and concrete residues by sanding or grinding. Roughen dense substrates by blasting or sanding. Clean contaminated floors chemically and sand after. Treat oil stains with cat litter or ammonia. Repair small damages with Flow Resin Epoxy Putty and larger ones with Flow Resin Epoxy Repair Mortar. Finish edges with acrylic sealant and tape.

Application in floor coating

If you do not want visible joints in the final coat, apply a Flow Resin Epoxy Scraper Coat after the primer. The primer can also be sanded in (max. 10%) to partially fill joints already.
