Description

Hydrant Teak Oil is a nourishing and coloring oil based on pure linseed oil. Protects teak, among other things, against soiling or aging for a longer period of time. Hydrant Teak Oil is extremely suitable for the maintenance and protection of decks which are subjected to intensive wear and tear. In addition, Hydrant Teak Oil is excellent for use on mouldings, handles, railings, etc.

Pretreatment

Where necessary, clean and degrease with Hydrant Opticleaner, rinse with water and allow to dry thoroughly. Clean and degrease old layers of teak oil and weathered areas prior to treatment with Hydrant Hardwood Cleaner.

Processing

Apply Hydrant Teak Oil with a brush. Allow to soak in for a few minutes and then wipe dry with a cotton cloth. On highly absorbent substrates a second coat can be applied wet-on-wet. Layer formation on the substrate must be avoided.

Tips

• Stir/shake thoroughly before use.
• Apply under dry and well-ventilated conditions.
• Not suitable for surfaces with permanent water exposure.
• Do not use at temperatures below 5°C.
• Thick coats applied will dry poorly or very slowly.
• Store cloths saturated with linseed oil in a closed steel container outside due to scalding and risk of ignition.
