Application

• Temporary fixing of loose-laid carpet tiles.
• Temporary fastening of loose resilient floor coverings.

Examples of applications

Ultrabond Eco Fix is used for shear bonding of:

• loose carpet tiles;
• loose laid PVC tiles with a PVC latex foam backing.

Suitable for application to:

• all common absorbent and non-absorbent substrates in construction, provided they are dry, level and moisture-resistant (such as screeds, leveling layers, concrete, dry screeds);
• existing floors such as wood, PVC, rubber, linoleum, ceramic, marble, etc.;
• various types of panels and raised floors;
• floors with underfloor heating.

Technical properties

Ultrabond Eco Fix is a dispersion adhesive based on acrylic resins, light cream color and in paste form. The adhesive is easy to apply with a roller or glue comb. After drying, the adhesive film remains tacky, making tiles easy to remove and replace. Note that if the adhesive is still wet when the tiles are applied, a permanent bond is created. Suitable for heavy traffic floors and use with castor chairs (according to EN 12529). Non-flammable and very low emission of volatile organic compounds (EMICODE EC1 Plus). Can be stored without special precautions.

Important instructions

• Process at temperatures between +15°C and +35°C.
• Do not use on damp substrates or substrates at risk of rising damp.
• On highly absorbent substrates, first apply a suitable primer (such as Primer G or Eco Prim T) before using Ultrabond Eco Fix.

Consumption

Depending on substrate, tile backing and application method (roller or glue comb): 80-150 g/m².

Recommended tools

Use a PVC glue comb or a lino/parquet comb with teeth A2 or B1 for optimal glue distribution and adhesion.
