Particle filters for masks protect against dust, fumes and aerosols. They are available in three protection levels: P1, P2 and P3, according to standard EN 143:2000+A1:2006. The higher the level, the better the filtration and protection against harmful substances and higher concentrations of contaminants.
P1 + Half-face mask
Suitable for concentrations up to 4 times the limit. Provides protection against non-toxic water- and oil-based particles. Not suitable for carcinogenic or radioactive substances, biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3, or enzymes.
Maximum leakage: 2%. Filters at least 80% of contaminants. Applicable in light, non-hazardous dust environments.
P2 + Half-face mask
Suitable for concentrations up to 12 times the limit. Protects against harmful water- and oil-based particles. Not suitable for carcinogenic or radioactive substances, risk group 3 biological agents, or enzymes.
Maximum leakage: 2%. Filters at least 94% of contaminants. Applicable when working with softwood, metal, plastics (excluding PVC) and oil mists.
P3 + Half-face mask
Suitable for concentrations up to 48 times the limit. Provides protection against harmful and carcinogenic particles, radioactive substances, biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3, and enzymes.
Maximum leakage: 2%. Filters at least 99.5% of contaminants. Applicable when working with heavy metals, hardwood, brake dust, radioactive substances and pathogens (such as viruses, bacteria and mold spores), and when welding stainless steel.
P1 + Full face mask
Suitable for concentrations up to 4 times the limit. Provides protection against non-toxic water- and oil-based particles. Not suitable for carcinogenic or radioactive substances, biological agents of risk groups 2 and 3, or enzymes.
Maximum leakage: 0.05%. Filters at least 80% of contaminants. Applicable in light, non-hazardous dust environments.
P2 + Full face mask
Suitable for concentrations up to 16 times the limit. Protects against harmful water- and oil-based particles. Not suitable for carcinogenic or radioactive substances, risk group 3 biological agents, or enzymes.
