Owatrol Seasonite

SEASONITE® protects new wood from sun and moisture damage during the first year of weather exposure. By treating the wood directly with SEASONITE®, it stays in new condition longer and is protected from weathering. SEASONITE® is breathable: excess water is drained away and moisture does not penetrate the wood. Unlike water-repellent products that only stay on the surface and wear off quickly, SEASONITE® penetrates deep into the wood and adheres to the wood fibers. This stabilizes the wood and prevents cracking, cracking, warping and expansion. SEASONITE® allows new wood to age naturally without the damaging effects of weather in the first year.

Applications

• For new exterior wood only: softwood, hardwood**, kiln-dried wood (such as cedar and red pine) during the first year of exposure.
• Ideal for pressure-treated wood.
• Suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces: terraces, cladding, shingles, garden fences and other outdoor wooden structures.
• Note: For wood that has been outside for several months, use NET-TROL®* and TEXTROL®* or contact us.
