UZIN NC 580 Fusiontec

UZIN NC 580 Fusiontec is a very well flowing, fast-drying levelling compound with a smooth end result. Suitable for both thin and thick layers and ideal for creating flat, ready-to-lay floors as a base for almost all types of flooring, multi-layer parquet, ceramic and natural stone (minimum 2 mm). This equalizer dries quickly and is walkable and ready to lay after only 6 hours.

Applications

• Suitable for leveling and filling almost all substrates prior to laying flooring.
• Ideal for old, unstable substrates and quick application.
• Applicable in layer thicknesses from 0 to 20 mm.

Advantages and features

Thanks to the Fusion Technology, the product has excellent flow properties and fast curing. The long application time makes it possible to work in any desired layer thickness. The virtually stress-free equalization is suitable for various substrates and forms a perfect base for parquet and other floor finishes. Pumpable and suitable for indoor use only.

Substrate requirements

The substrate must be pressure and shape resistant, permanently dry, clean, crack-free and free of adhesion-reducing substances.

Processing

1. Pour 4.0 liters of clean, cold water into a UZIN mixing vessel. Slowly add 20 kg of powder and mix with a basket mixer until a homogeneous, lump-free mass is formed.
2. Apply the mixture to the substrate and spread with a smoothing trowel or Wolff leveling trowel. Immediately afterwards, use a Wolff prickle roller for an even result. If possible, apply the desired thickness in one layer.

Consumption

• 1 mm layer thickness – approx. 1.5 kg/m²
• 3 mm layer thickness – approx. 4.5 kg/m²
• 10 mm layer thickness – approx. 15 kg/m²

• Cement screed, concrete (with waterproof adhesive residues): UZIN PE 360 PLUS or UZIN PE 375
• Moist cement-bound substrates: UZIN PE 400 or UZIN PE 460
• Wood, chipboard: UZIN PE 630
• Magnesite, terrazo, granito, ceramic, dense concrete floors, plastic: UZIN PE 280
• Poured asphalt: UZIN PE 280

Prevent cracking

Do not apply the leveling compound tightly against the wall to prevent cracking. Use an edge strip to accommodate expansion. In addition, always use a suitable primer under the leveling layer.
