Description and application

UZIN KE 2000 S is a high-performance, solvent-free and low-emission dispersion adhesive with a short waiting time and long setting time. Suitable for “semi-wet”, “dry” and “contact bonding”. Specially developed for PVC and rubber floors, but can also be used as a universal adhesive for various floor coverings. Applicable on floor and wall, indoors only.

Main area of application

• Homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC/CV coverings (webs and tiles)
• Rubber in webs up to 4 mm, including acoustic or foam backing
• Carpets with common back constructions
• Supple needle felt or woven carpet
• PVC/CV design floors

Also suitable as universal glue for:

• Carpets with various back constructions (latex, foam, felt, fleece)
• corkment
• UZIN insulation mats and underlays

Applicable to:

• Absorbent, leveled substrates (wet or semi-wet bonding)
• Non-absorbent substrates such as synthetic resin floors or UZIN insulation mats (dry bonding)
• Non-absorbent substrates as contact adhesive (only for PVC/CV and rubber)
• Spaces with heavy loads such as hospitals, malls, stores
• Floors with hot water underfloor heating

UZIN KE 2000 S PVC and rubber adhesive processing

• Apply the adhesive evenly with the appropriate sealant spreader (see product data sheet). Allow waiting time depending on method, quantity, substrate and coverage. Work within the opening/insertion time.
• After short waiting time, lay in the covering, press glue bead flat. Rub or roll on, weight down raised areas. Avoid air inclusion. Allow to rest for 20 minutes, then roll again and additionally press seams/edges.
• Remove fresh glue stains immediately with water.
