Application

Suitable for applying adhesive, non-adhesive and floating screeds on both old and new concrete, prior to the installation of floor coverings such as wood, PVC, linoleum, ceramic tile, natural stone, carpet and other types of flooring. Ideal when rapid drying is required. Applicable indoors and outdoors.

Examples of applications:

• Subfloors lightly walkable after 12 hours and suitable for laying elastic and wooden floors after 4 days.
• Screed floors on which ceramic tiles can be placed after 24 hours and natural stone after 2 days.
• Repair of screeds in locations where rapid intervention is required.
• Application of screeds on floor heating systems without the use of polymer additives.

Technical properties

Topcem is a special hydraulic binder that, mixed with aggregates and water, cures within 24 hours and dries completely in about 4 days.

Important:

• Do not mix with other cement, lime, plaster, Mapecem or similar products.
• Do not dry mix with aggregates; add appropriate amount of water immediately.
• Do not mix with fine sand alone; use aggregates with a grain size of 0 to 8 mm (for screeds up to 5-6 cm thick).
• Avoid excessive use of water when mixing.
• Do not add water or stir again once the binding has begun.
