Application

Suitable for painting cracked facades and concrete structures subject to deformation.

Examples of applications:

  • Protection against carbonation of concrete structures that deform slightly under load.
  • Protection and beautification of lightly cracked, painted or unpainted plaster with a seamless elastic coating.
  • Protection of thin precast elements prone to cracking.

Technical Features

Elastocolor Paint is a one-component paint based on acrylic dispersion, which forms a protective film under the influence of daylight. Once dry, it creates an elastic finish that is water and gas tight (against CO₂ and SO₂), but remains vapor permeable. The paint is highly resistant to aging, frost and de-icing salts and has a dirt-repellent effect thanks to its photochemical film formation.

Consumption

Consumption depends on the suction and roughness of the substrate, the color of the paint and the application method used. On average, consumption is between 0.2 and 0.4 kg/m² per coat.
