Application
Malech is used as a primer to regulate substrate absorption and improve adhesion on wall surfaces such as concrete or cementitious repairs before applying a colored finish coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite product lines. In addition, Malech is part of the Aquaflex System for the permanent encapsulation of asbestos, where it serves as a primer for subsequent Aquaflex coatings.
Application examples:
- As a primer on well-cured new or old plaster that has not deteriorated, prior to a finish coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
- As a primer on existing paintwork, even if slightly powdery, prior to a finish coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
- As a primer on surfaces in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas, thanks to Malech’s odorless composition, prior to a finish coat from the Elastocolor, Quarzolite or Colorite ranges.
Technical properties
Malech is a primer based on micronized acrylic resins in aqueous dispersion. It penetrates deeper into the substrate than traditional water-based primers. Malech is odorless and contains no solvents, making it suitable for use in closed or poorly ventilated areas. Its special composition ensures good fixation of dust on the surface and delays the formation of rashes.
Consumption
0.10-0.15 kg/m², depending on the suction of the substrate.
