Application

Suitable for use on concrete slabs and cement screeds with high moisture content and high pH before applying moisture-sensitive floor coverings such as wood, rubber or vinyl. Primer MF is applicable to substrates with moisture content up to 6% CM (measured with a chemical hygrometer according to UNI 10329) or relative humidity up to 100% (measured with a hygrometric probe according to ASTM F2170 or BS 8203). Also suitable for reinforcing loose or weakened substrates.

Application examples:

• Solve moisture problems in concrete floors or cement screeds before installing moisture-sensitive floor coverings.
• Reinforcing weak cementitious substrates.
• Dust-binding treatment of loose cement or plaster layers.
• Binder in combination with quartz sand for making a synthetic mortar for minor leveling or repair work.

Technical properties

Primer MF is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy primer with low viscosity and 100% solids. It penetrates deeply into the pores of the substrate. Due to the absence of solvents, the product is non-flammable and has only a slight odor, making it suitable for use in occupied or working areas such as homes, schools and offices. After curing, it significantly reduces substrate permeability and increases strength and abrasion resistance.

Consumption

0.200-0.400 kg/m² per coat, depending on the roughness and suction of the substrate.
