Description and Application

UZIN NC 170 LevelStar NEU is an excellent flowing, fast-drying leveling compound with a very smooth end result. Suitable for both thin and thick layers on gypsum-based substrates. Ideal for creating flat, ready-to-lay floors as a base for almost all types of flooring, multi-layer parquet, ceramic and natural stone (minimum 2 mm). The levelling compound is ready to lay after only 6 hours, pumpable and suitable for indoor use only.

For gypsum-bonded substrates: use UZIN NC 110.

For wooden substrates: use UZIN NC 175 or UZIN NC 115.

Product Benefits

UZIN NC 170 LevelStar NEU is a premium leveling agent with advanced properties. Thanks to innovative binders and additives, it offers certainty and speed of installation. The Level Plus Effect S ensures excellent flow, fast curing, a smooth surface and even appearance. Despite its high strength, it has good sandability. The adhesive adheres evenly to the absorbent surface, resulting in a tight finish, especially with sensitive or elastic materials. Less wear on tools and abrasives.

Ideal for new construction and renovation, heavily used floors and rapid loading. Suitable for any layer thickness (filled with quartz sand). Under normal conditions the floor is ready for laying after only 6 hours up to a layer thickness of 5 mm. Even with thicker layers or less favorable conditions, the drying time remains short (see product data sheet).

Substrate

The substrate must be pressure and shape resistant, permanently dry, clean and free of cracks and adhesion-reducing substances.

Processing

Mixing ratio: approx. 5.20 liters of clean, cold water per 20 kg of powder. Pour the water into a UZIN mixing vessel and add the powder gradually. Mix with a Wolff Basket mixer to a homogeneous, lump-free mass. Allow the mixture to mature for up to 2 minutes and stir again. Pour the material onto the substrate and spread with a smoothing trowel or UZIN leveling rake. Spike immediately after application with a UZIN spiked roller for optimum results.

Consumption

• 1 mm layer thickness – approx. 1.5 kg/m²
• 3 mm layer thickness – approx. 4.5 kg/m²
• 10 mm layer thickness – approx. 15 kg/m²

Recommended primers

• Cement screed, concrete (with waterproof adhesive residues): UZIN PE 360 PLUS or UZIN PE 375
• Cementitious substrates that are too moist: UZIN PE 400 or UZIN PE 460
• Wood, chipboard: UZIN PE 630
• Magnesite, terrazzo, granito, ceramic, dense concrete floors, plastic: UZIN PE 280
• Poured asphalt: UZIN PE 280

Prevent cracking
