The Flow Resin Epoxy Primer for dense, non-absorbent substrates is a two-component primer based on 100% epoxy resin. This primer is specially developed for substrates with a closed structure and ensures strong adhesion of the subsequent Flow Resin system.

Consumption
Depending on the structure of the substrate. On uneven substrates: approx. 200-300 g/m². For an even substrate: approx. 150-250 g/m².
Required tools
Brush, nylon roller with bracket (and telescopic handle), gloves, mixing rod, mixing bucket, safety glasses. For larger surfaces: floor squeegee and cross roll with roller. Possibly tape for tight edges.
Preparation of substrate
The substrate must be dry and dust-free. Remove cement and concrete residues by sanding or grinding. Roughen dense substrates by dust-free blasting or hard sanding. Chemically clean and sand contaminants. Treat oil stains with cat litter or ammonia. If moisture content is too high (4-15%) use Flow Resin Epoxy Primer Moist Subfloors. Vacuum the floor thoroughly. Repair minor damage with Flow Resin Epoxy Putty, larger ones with Flow Resin Epoxy Repair Mortar. Finish edges with acrylic sealant and tape if desired.
Anti-slip and peak load increase
For heavy-duty areas, it is recommended to mix or sprinkle each coat, including primer, with Flow Resin Heavy Duty Antiskid. Mix 10% anti-slip into the primer or sprinkle 750 g/m² full on the wet coat. Vacuum before applying the next coat. This creates an antiskid floor even without antiskid in the coating itself.
