Wilsor Fiberglass Putty

Application

Suitable for filling and repairing wood, polyester, stone and metal. Ideal for boats, bodywork and window frames, among others. The polyester putty is resistant to sunlight and rain.

Type of putty

Polyester putty gray: a coarser, well sandable soft putty with high standing power. Suitable for filling deep irregularities.

Polyester putty white: a fine, white finishing putty with smooth results thanks to a fine filler. Similar to epoxy putty.

Fiber putty: reinforced with fiberglass for extra strong adhesion.

Cons

• Up to -1% shrinkage
• Characteristic odor
• Not suitable below the waterline

User Manual

1. Sand the damaged surface and make sure it is dry, dust- and grease-free.
2. Add 2% Bp paste hardener and mix to even color. More hardener accelerates curing, but do not use more than 3% to avoid damage to paint. (6 cm Bp paste = about 1 gram)
3. After 30 minutes, the surface is sandable. After 24 hours, painting is possible. Fiber putty is difficult to sand; finish with gray or white polyester putty.
