Consumption
For anti-slip with Polyurethane you always use a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 3% of the weight of the PU. So for 1 kg (1000 grams) of PU you use between 10 and 30 grams of anti-slip granules. Usually 2.5% to 3% is used for an effective anti-slip layer. A dosage of 1% to 2% is often used in less humid areas or on sloping floors.
Are the grains visible in the final result?
No, the beads are transparent and contain small openings where the top lacquer soaks in. As a result, they are not visible in the appearance of the floor, but provide a tactile anti-slip effect.
