Application

Eco Prim Grip is a universal, ready-to-use primer for floors and walls, suitable for interior and exterior applications. The product improves the adhesion of virtually all types of cement, gypsum and lime plasters to substrates such as concrete, brick, compacted concrete, lightweight blocks and gypsum. In addition, it is ideal for improving the adhesion of adhesives for ceramics and leveling coats on non-absorbent surfaces such as ceramic tile, terrazzo and natural stone.

Application examples:

• Apply plaster to substrates of concrete, masonry, etc.
• Apply leveling and smoothing coats to existing ceramic, terrazzo and natural stone floors.

Technical properties

Eco Prim Grip is a solvent-free primer based on synthetic resin in aqueous dispersion and selected inert fillers. The product offers excellent adhesion, water resistance and aging resistance. It forms a rough surface ideal for plasters and leveling coats, and ensures even water absorption on absorbent substrates. Once dry, it guarantees strong adhesion to various substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete, brick, drywall, wood, ceramic, metal and plaster. Eco Prim Grip is a gray latex that is easy to apply by roller or brush, is non-flammable and has very low VOC emissions. This makes it safe to use and store.

Apply

Apply Eco Prim Grip with a roller or brush. After drying (15 to 60 minutes, depending on environment and substrate), the plaster or leveling layer can be applied. If desired, a second coat can be applied later.

Consumption

Consumption is between 0.20 and 0.30 kg/m², depending on the suction of the substrate.
